Jennifer Crowder

My work is often a blend of fine art and fashion. It is quirky, colorful, fun and exciting. I enjoy creating sets and finding amazing locations that give my photographs a narrative aspect. I also enjoy photographing creative, out-of-the-box makeup, hair, and wardrobe.

My main goal in every portrait is to stretch beyond conventional photography, and capture not only the physical appearance of a model, but the energy and dynamism that lies behind the creation of every image. I firmly believe that the process of the photoshoot itself must be magical, not just the final image- and I strive to make that magic happen in every shoot.
